What You’ll Be Doing:
- Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enhance developer experience and streamline software delivery.
- Work with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and AWS CDK to build scalable infrastructure.
- Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes.
- Improve container orchestration using Kubernetes, Helm, Kustomize, and GitOps tools like ArgoCD or Flux to enable automated and declarative deployments.
- Implement and maintain GitOps workflows to manage infrastructure and application deployments efficiently.
- Work closely with the SRE team to ensure seamless collaboration, aligning DevOps and SRE initiatives for improved system reliability and automation.
- Collaborate with developers to improve local development workflows, ensuring smooth integration between code and infrastructure.
- Reduce manual tasks through automation and self-service tooling.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment-related issues, with guidance from senior engineers.
What You'll Need:
- You have hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- You have experience with scripting (Python, Bash, or Go) to automate infrastructure and deployments.
- You are excited about streamlining developer workflows and improving software deployment processes.
- You work well in a collaborative team environment and are eager to learn from experienced engineers.
More to Give:
- Experience with IaC tools like Terraform, AWS CDK.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD, or Jenkins).
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Kustomize, and GitOps tools like ArgoCD or Flux.
- Exposure to automation tools for configuration management (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
- Experience with developer-focused improvements, such as faster builds, better testing environments, or local development tooling.
