Product Marketing Manager

You’re a strategic product marketer with a data-driven approach. You’re all about translating complex technical concepts into compelling messaging that resonates with customers. You’re a collaborator, working closely with product, sales, and engineering teams to drive go-to-market success. You’re focused on the ‘3 A’s’ when refining business strategies and evolving needs: analytical, aligned, adaptable.
What You’ll Be Doing:
In this role, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and demand generation, to craft compelling messaging, enable sales, and ensure market success.
- Launch Products, Features, and Integrations: Work with cross-functional teams to plan and execute go-to-market strategies including integrated marketing campaigns.
- Messaging & Positioning: Craft compelling, differentiated positioning and messaging for new capabilities that speak to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Sales Enablement: Help the sales team effectively communicate new capabilities by creating and updating launch-specific sales plays and materials such as one-pagers, pitch decks, and FAQs.
- Market Research: Help gather and analyze market trends, competitive insights, and customer data to inform launch strategies.
- Performance Tracking: Learn how to track launch success by measuring key performance indicators (KPIs) and using feedback to optimize future launches.
What You’ll Need:
- 3-5 years of experience in product marketing, marketing, or related roles within the cybersecurity industry.
- A solid understanding of product positioning, messaging, content creation, and competitive analysis.
- Background in cybersecurity, with exposure to and a basic understanding of the application security industry, including key challenges and trends. *This is highly preferred
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively to different audiences.
- Eagerness to learn and dive into product marketing, coupled with an interest in how application security products solve real-world problems.
- Ability to work well with cross-functional teams and take direction from senior team members.
- Comfort working with data to gather insights and inform decisions.
- Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, Jira, and Tableau (not required, but a bonus!).
- Interest in developing presentation skills and learning how to communicate with both technical and business audiences.
